The Disaster Risk Management Knowledge Centre is organising a workshop that will bring together representatives of FP7 and H2020 research projects funded under the safety, security and
environment subjects, as well as the European Commission and stakeholders from European associations and Member States. Representatives of 20 projects that focus on geo-hazards,
cascade effects and extreme weather will present how their results can be used in practice, collect feedback from stakeholders and propose common policy recommendations in the areas of
disaster risk reduction, critical infrastructure protection and societal resilience. The workshop is organised by the JRC with the involvement of RTD, HOME, REA, EASME, CLIMA and ENV. The closing session is jointly organised with the Community of Users on Secure, Safe and Resilient Societies.
